ROUND 2: Sleeves up. Armor On. 

Wendy Hood...she is a fierce, God-fearing woman who has faced a new challenge head-on (literally) and needs our help.  She was rushed to Emory in Atlanta for surgery on New Year's Eve and they found a large recurring, aggressive brain tumor. Those who know her well will not be surprised: she defied the odds and was discharged just three days post-surgery, bypassing what they had said would be an extended stay in the ICU. She wanted to get home to her honey and her chickens!  Her farm is where she is the happiest.  Her dedication to help disciple people in the Word of God continues on as her Around the Word in 80 Days group has grown exponentially, and she was joining along and loving on the group less than a week after the surgery.  

Wendy is courageously exploring integrative approaches, and will be incorporating chemotherapy and radiation, and for the next five weeks starting in February will spend everyday at Emory, with weekends only at home.

As Wendy navigates through this difficult journey, she needs our support more than ever. Whether it's contributing towards her medical expenses, providing assistance with daily expenses, or simply offering your time and prayers, every act of kindness makes a difference. Together, we can rally around Wendy, showing her the love and support during this challenging time.
