Support the Robinson Family & Joshua David

Laura and Billy Robinson had stepped into a new season—grown children, grandbabies on the way, and the quieter days that follow raising a family. They thought that part of life was behind them.

But God had different plans

They began fostering with one goal: to make a difference. No plans to adopt. No plans to start over. Just a heart to help.

Then, Joshua David came into their lives at just 4 months old, weighing only 9 pounds. Billy took one look and said, “He’s never leaving.
Laura laughed and said, “I’m too old to start over.”

Their plan was to help his biological parents get back on track. But after two years of loving, caring, and advocating for Joshua through medical complexities and developmental milestones—they became Mom and Dad for good

Joshua has been diagnosed with Cerebral Palsy and several medical conditions that require a wheelchair, equipment, and daily care. He brings joy, grit, and purpose into their world.

They Said Yes to Joshua—Now Let’s Say Yes to Them

Today, Laura and Billy juggle therapy appointments, medical routines, and mobility needs, all while stepping back into parenting full-time. One of their biggest challenges is their vehicle

  • It must fit Joshua’s wheelchair and medical supplies

  • It needs to be reliable and modifiable when the time comes for wheelchair access upgrades

This is no small cost—especially when starting over was never in the plan. But it’s a cost we can help carry together.

Why We’re Rallying

If you know Laura and Billy, you know they are the ones who say yes to helping, often before anyone even asks. They are the givers, the doers, and the helpers.

Saying yes to this page wasn’t easy for them—but we reminded them of this truth:

“To everything there is a season, and a time to every purpose under the heaven.” – Ecclesiastes 3:1

And this, friends, is their season to receive.
