Hello, family and friends. Thank you for taking the time to read our story. My name is Mario Reyes, and together with my fiancé, Christina Estrada, we have endured numerous hardships over the past few years. After the loss of my older brother, Cesar, and Christina’s mother, life became extremely challenging. When Christina’s mother passed away in 2026, we lost our home and became homeless, living out of our car. Fortunately, we were able to receive assistance and secure an apartment in Gresham. However, six months later, I lost my job, and we are now facing eviction due to unpaid bills. Our car is no longer operational, and our future feels uncertain. Our dog, Chico, has been our sole source of comfort during these difficult times. We urgently need to find a stable home before September 30, 2026, to avoid an eviction record and regain stability in our lives. We have set a goal to raise $25,000, which will enable us to secure a new home, obtain a reliable vehicle, and eventually move back to Texas to be near my mother.
