A devastating EF3 tornado hit the house of the Price Family--Charlie, Renee (Fandel), and 8-year-old Willoughby--in Menasha, WI, on Monday, July 27. Luckily, everyone is safe, including the dog and two cats, but their home is unable to be saved. Family and friends rallied to help remove items before the house was deemed structurally unsound. Their family is in a hotel for the rest of this week and is looking to find long-term temporary housing as they figure out their next steps.

Many of you have reached out, asking how you can help. For now, money for basic living expenses is helpful. Additionally, the family was looking forward to their annual fishing trip to Phillips, WI, where they have always found peace. Even though their boat has been damaged and their fishing gear is inaccessible, we believe that it's even MORE important that they take this trip to take a breath and clear their minds in order to take the next steps forward. If you are interested in pitching in to help us rent equipment for them, please note this with your donation. Or if you are inclined to lend a boat and fishing equipment, please reach out to Renee's sister Jen. (Thank you for the offers of boats and fishing equipment! They are set!)

The SupportNow platform also allows donations of gift cards and has a section for lending help and/or cooking meals. We do not have the help and meal section currently activated, but we may do that in the future, based on the family's needs.Β

For now, please consider helping the Price family by taking one of the following actions:
  1. Choose from Support Registry options: You can help by donating money or gift cards.
  2. 'Share' to Spread the Word to family and friends. You can do this through the platform or through your own methods (email/phone/Facebook, etc.).
  3. 'Follow' Updates to stay informed: Keep up with the latest news on how they are doing.

Sending gratitude to everyone reading this. Your care and concern makes the world a better place.
--Jen Fandel (Renee's sister)

P.S. If you have questions/concerns, please reach out to Jen via email ([email protected]) or call Mary and Ray Fandel.
