On Sunday May 4th while Melissa was away, she got the call that no spouse ever wants to receive. Her husband Tom was found by their neighbor unresponsive in her backyard and the paramedics were there doing everything they could to try to save him. Tom had gone over to the neighbor’s house to finish some work he had been doing for her in her yard and didn’t want to disturb her, so had quietly begun his work. Until their youngest son noticed his dad had been gone for too long, no one had seen him when he became unresponsive. Tragically, he didn’t make it.
Tom passed away unexpectedly doing what he loved. Helping others. Any time anyone needed a hand, Tom was always the first to step up to the task. Whether it be family, a friend or a neighbor, Tom was willing and able to put everything aside and put someone else first. He leaves behind three wonderful boys, Liam, Cameron and Drew, and his wife Melissa of 16 years. If you feel led to make a donation to this wonderful family, it would help tremendously during these uncertain times. They are devastated by his loss and could use all of our love and support as they navigate their new normal without Tom.
