Hello, dear family and friends!
Over the past several weeks, our family has been going through a tough time. My husband, a proud veteran who served our country for 13 years, is having serious health problems. He has renal failure and Arnold Chiari Malformation, which causes seizures. I had to leave work to care for him, so our family income has dropped by about $2,500 a month. We have done our best to cut costs and save money, but we still need a bit of help to make it through this rough patch.
Even with these challenges, we want to celebrate a special day—our daughter's Sweet 16 on August 13. Our main focus is my husband's health, but we hope to make her birthday joyful during this hard time.
