Help The Egland Family Transition to a Fresh Start in Barstow

I am currently transitioning from a domestic survivors shelter into permanent housing in Barstow, CA. My move-in date is June 19th 2026. My children and I have been through alot and our life is slowly turning around for the best. This move is a pivotal step toward building a stable, successful future for my children and I. While this housing is a dream come true, the logistical and financial hurdles of starting fresh are significant. I am reaching out to my community for support to ensure this transition is successful and sustainable.

Your contributions will go directly toward the following essential needs:

Relocation & Logistics:  Covering the costs of moving services and transportation to safely move our belongings from Los Angeles to Barstow.

Essential Household Setup:   Purchasing furniture (beds, seating, etc.) and basic household necessities that are crucial to turning our new space into a functional, comfortable home.

Utility & Connectivity:   Setting up essential services, including electricity, water, and reliable Wi-Fi, which is vital for my children and I to continue schooling.

Reliable Transportation:   Securing a safe vehicle to ensure my children can attend school consistently and I can reliably commute to work.

Housing Stability Fund:   Providing a financial safety net to cover initial expenses and ensure we can stay housed.

My focus is on creating a secure environment where my children can thrive and where I can leverage my background in accounting and business to build a career that supports our family long-term. Every bit of support helps us bridge the gap between where we are now and the permanent, stable life we are working so hard to achieve.
