In Support of The Council family

Michaela and Reid are facing an unexpected and incredibly difficult journey while navigating parenthood with their sweet baby Parker. Earlier this week, Michaela was  admitted to the ICU with postpartum cardiomyopathy and bilateral pulmonary emboli. Her heart function was only about 10-15% when she was evaluated in the ER. She has been very strong and is improving slowly each day. Her doctors are encouraged that she will recover, but has many months of rehabilitation ahead of her.  While she focuses on healing and getting stronger, her family is coming together to support her and her new baby during this challenging time.  Any contribution—whether through financial support, a thoughtful gift, or a meal for the family—will help ease some of the burden and allow them to focus on what matters most: her recovery and caring for their precious new baby. My hope is that they do not have to stress about staying afloat while she is unable to work. Every prayer, kind gesture, and act of support means more than you know.
