Dear Family and Friends,

The Aquino Family is so grateful to all who have reached out, made meals, donated, and for all the support they have received!

Joanne has recovered from surgery but her cancer journey did not end there. Her doctors recommended chemo treatments to ensure the cancer does not come back. The chemo treatments began in June and will end in October. 

As many know, chemo can be extremely hard on the body and it affects everyone differently. Joanne is experiencing symptoms of fatigue, restlessness, neuropathy, bone pains, nausea, headaches, sleepless nights, and hair loss. These symptoms are challenging both physically and emotionally. Joanne has been incredibly resilient and she will continue to kick cancer’s ass! 

While she is still on this journey, the Aquino Family could still use support! Joanne and the family’s needs have shifted a bit. There are medications, basic necessities, gas for traveling, items that help bring comfort during chemo, etc. If you are able to donate on here, directly through Venmo (@Joanne-Aquino-1), or any gift cards for DoorDash, Uber Eats, restaurants, groceries, Amazon, Costco, or other gift cards, these would all be greatly appreciated!
