It is with heartbreaking sadness that we share the tragic and unexpected loss of Captain Michael Anderson. He was a loving husband, devoted father, and respected firefighter. Mike dedicated his life to serving others as a firefighter for Marion County Fire District for twenty-two years. He was someone who was always showing up when people needed help, putting others before himself and making a difference in the lives of the people around him.
Mike leaves behind his beloved wife and three daughters, who are facing an unimaginable loss. We are asking our friends, family, first responder community and anyone whose life Mike touched to come alongside the Anderson family during this incredibly difficult time. Donations will help provide financial support to his wife and daughters as they navigate the immediate expenses and the many changes that come with losing their loved one.
