In Loving Memory of Brig Gen Chandler "Fulcrum" Parrish Atwood
Brig Gen Chandler Parrish Atwood passed away unexpectedly from a heart attack on June 29, 2025. Known to many as "Fulcrum," he left a lasting legacy through his unwavering service, deep friendships, and love for his family.
In response to the many offers of support, this account has been set up in accordance with the family’s wishes. It allows friends and loved ones to contribute meaningfully while respecting their privacy and giving them space to grieve.
At this time, monetary donations are welcome and will go toward the children’s college fund and other essential needs for them. While the family has appreciated a few shared meals, they kindly request restaurant or meal delivery gift cards moving forward.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to

https://www.safeproject.us/donate/Please keep Team Atwood in your thoughts as they navigate this profound loss—and remember Fulcrum’s words that continue to guide and inspire:
“If you don’t remember them out loud, they die twice. Honor your grief, for it is sacred. It is a testament to the depth of your heart. And in time, through the pain, you will find healing – not because you have forgotten, but because you have learned how to carry both love and loss together.”
We will remember him.
