In Support of Tara Mehrtens

Hello family and friends.

Tara Mehrtens, a loving single mother of three boys, needs your help. She has recently been diagnosed with breast cancer and will undergo a double mastectomy in just three weeks (June 2026). The recent MRI results showed a tumor of 1.4 cm. The doctors have determined the need for a lymph node biopsy, which will help decide the next steps in her treatment, including possible chemotherapy. 

With months of preparation required before the surgery completion this winter and a long journey to remission, Tara's path to recovery will be challenging, yet there is hope for positive outcomes.

She could use your support for meals as well as  items for herself and her home for a quick recovery (bedding for support, new clothing items, lift recliner, etc.). Additionally, Tara will be in and out of the doctors for months, so additional funds will be directed towards medical expenses. 

At this time, we ask for financial support only, as we would like to respect her need for privacy  and limited guests at this time.
