Hello family and friends!
We are reaching out to let you know about Sydney Lynn's journey. She is our brave 19-year-old daughter who was suddenly taken ill just a week before her finals. Sydney was rushed to the hospital because of a seizure and received a life-changing diagnosis: B-ALL leukemia. After spending months at the OU Children's Medical Center, we were flown to MD Anderson in Houston. There, doctors discovered she also has Burkitts, a rare combination. Sydney has faced immense challenges, including losing her vision and experiencing facial drooping. Despite these difficulties, she has remained strong in her faith, though the situation is discouraging. Sydney was a vibrant, athletic, and smart young woman, and your support means the world as we navigate this tough journey.
