Steven (or Meathead, as many of you know him) was recently in a major car accident and suffered several serious injuries. He is now in the neuro ICU, and it's an incredibly tough time for his family for so many reasons. While trying to stay strong emotionally, they are now needing to spend a lot of money daily on things like food, gas, parking, and hotels as they stay by Steven's side at the hospital.

Steven has always been a light in many of our lives, and I know if we were able to ask him how we could help, he would probably say "take care of my family". Right now, the immediate need is financial, so please consider giving what you can and sharing with your network. In the long-term, this page will be used for updates and requesting help with daily tasks and support as needed.

Though visitor restrictions are tight, Lorinda would love to see family and friends come visit Steven if possible. If it is not possible for you to visit, but you would like to send him a message, we are compiling voice recordings from his loved ones to play regularly for him. What we know is that hearing familiar voices can support neurological healing during this time. Please consider sending a simple "hello", or share a favorite memory, story, words of encouragement...anything you'd like him to hear. Send your audio recording to 336-512-0925 as soon as possible.
