Help Steve in His Fight Against Cancer
For anyone who knows Linda and Steve, you know they are the kind of people who would never want to ask for help. But sometimes life puts more on a family than they should have to carry alone.
Steve’s battle with cancer began in 2021 when he was diagnosed with head and neck cancer. After chemotherapy and radiation, his follow-up scans were clear, and they were hopeful that the hardest days were behind them.
Unfortunately, in 2023, the cancer returned. Steve underwent an incredibly difficult 12-hour surgery to remove the cancer and reconstruct his neck. Because of damage from his previous radiation treatments, the surgery was much more extensive than originally expected and left Steve with lasting complications.
More recently, Steve began experiencing severe back pain. Doctors discovered a large tumor in his back along with cancer affecting his pelvic bones. He has continued undergoing chemotherapy and radiation as he fights this disease once again.
Through everything, Linda has been right there beside him. Steve has been unable to work for quite some time, and the financial burden that comes along with a long-term illness can become overwhelming very quickly.
I am starting this GoFundMe for Linda and Steve because I want them to know they are not fighting this battle alone. Any money raised will help with everyday living expenses, medical-related costs, travel for appointments, and the many unexpected expenses that come with Steve’s continued treatment.
If you are able to donate, no amount is too small. And if you cannot donate, sharing this fundraiser and keeping Steve and Linda in your thoughts and prayers would mean just as much.
Let’s come together and help take even a little bit of the weight off their shoulders so they can focus on what matters most — Steve’s care, strength, and time together.
