In Support of STEPHANIE GORDEN

Hello to all our dear family and friends.

In mid-July, our wonderful friend Stephanie Lusk (Gorden) received life-changing news: she was diagnosed with breast cancer. Since then, Stephanie has bravely gone through a double mastectomy and now needs chemotherapy, followed by years of hormone-blocking medication

At the same time, Stephanie’s apartment lease ended, prompting her to take a courageous step toward the simpler, more minimalistic life she has always dreamed of. 
She is purchasing a fifth wheel from a family member in hopes of creating a peaceful place to call home anywhere. 

For now, Stephanie is renting an RV space and managing this transition while battling breast cancer has been an incredible undertaking. 
This move comes with some unexpected challenges, like preparing her RV space for the coming winter and providing manageable accessibility during medical treatments.

As she prepares for chemotherapy and the challenges ahead, Stephanie needs our support.

Her upcoming expenses include:
  *Medical copays and deductibles
  *Medications and other treatment-related costs
  *A cold cap, gloves, and socks to help with chemotherapy
  *Surgery to have a port placed
  *The possibility of surgery to remove her ovaries
  *Transportation and everyday expenses throughout treatment
  *Basic living expenses while she focuses on healing
  *Post-mastectomy care, including massage, lymphatic, and physical therapy
  *Preparing and maintaining her RV space for treatment and winter living

Most importantly, we ask that you please keep Stephanie in your prayers. Please pray for strength, healing, peace, wisdom for her medical team, and comfort during every step of treatment. We believe in the power of prayer and are grateful for every prayer lifted on Stephanie’s behalf.
