Skyler Olivia Gaponiuk, 18, passed away on July 21, 2026, after a sudden and unexpected medical emergency.  While we are truly heartbroken over the loss of our daughter and sister, we rejoice that she is in the presence of Christ.
 
Skyler was an exceptional young woman who loved creativity, art, and design. She was passionately pursuing a bright future in costume design, having been accepted at Savannah College of Art and Design. She will be tremendously missed by her family and friends.
 
We are very grateful to all who have asked how to donate in memory of Skyler.  Contributions made here will help with the unforeseen medical expenses, Skyler's funerary services, and other related costs.  Any remaining funds will be donated in Skyler's memory to programs promoting the arts and arts education.
 
Thank you for your generosity, love and friendship toward Skyler and our family.
