Help Skye Walk Pain-Free Again
Our sweet girl, Skye, is a 6-year-old husky mix who has always been full of energy, adventure, and love. Whether she was playing outside, going on walks, or simply following us from room to room, she has always been a happy and active part of our family.
Recently, Skye suffered a torn ACL in her back leg. What started as a limp quickly turned into a painful injury that now affects her ability to walk, stand comfortably, and enjoy the activities she loves. Watching her struggle to get up, move around the house, and rest comfortably has been heartbreaking.
After consulting with her veterinarian, we’ve learned that surgery is the best option to give Skye the chance to regain her mobility and live a pain-free life. Without surgery, her condition is likely to worsen, leading to chronic pain, arthritis, and a significantly reduced quality of life.
The total cost of Skye’s treatment is $7,000:
• ACL Surgery (including sedation and medications): $6,500
• Post-operative examination and follow-up care: $500
• Post-operative examination and follow-up care: $500
Like many families, we weren’t prepared for a major medical expense of this size. We are committed to doing everything we can for Skye, but we need help covering the cost of the surgery she urgently needs.
