Aria is a happy, go-lucky 7-year-old who faces big challenges with epilepsy, hypotonia, and global delays. She is non-verbal, has limited mobility, and needs extra support with everyday tasks — but her smile truly lights up a room.
We are raising funds for a trained seizure-alert service dog to give Aria the safety, confidence, and companionship she deserves.
Aria’s seizures happen mostly at night, which is terrifying because no device has been able to detect or alert us to her tonic or atonic seizures. A service dog can — by sensing a seizure before or as it begins, alerting us, and helping keep her safely positioned. This would be life-changing for her and for our family.
A service dog would also support Aria during therapy by helping with redirection, emotional comfort, and confidence. As she grows, her dog could even help with mobility assistance — becoming a true lifelong partner.
The total cost for the dog, training, vet care, and placement is $17,000. Every donation, no matter the size, brings us one step closer to giving Aria the safety and independence she deserves.
They say it takes a village to raise a child — thank you for being part of Aria’s village. 💛
