This is Save Coral's flagship fundraising campaign and we are starting truly from the ground up by asking for help to cover the start up costs while we are pursuing drive training, coral restoration education and grant writing assistance. The average cost of setting up a non-profit in Florida is $2500. This campaign's goal is solely based on those costs which are included below.
- Florida Articles of Incorporation & Registered Agent: $78.75 ($35 filing + $35 agent fee + $8.75 Certified Copy of Status).
- Florida Solicitation of Contributions: $10-400 for registration.
- Florida Sunbiz Annual Report: $61.25
- IRS Form 1023 Filing for 501c3 non-profit status: $600
- Legal Fees for help with IRS filing: $500
- Domain name, website with Wix and business email integration: $211.60
