Sandrianna, has been fighting a serious and ongoing medical battle caused by aggressive scar tissue repeatedly growing inside her airway. Despite numerous procedures and surgeries, the scar tissue continues to return and has made it increasingly difficult for her to breathe safely.

August 06, 2026- Sandrianna received devastating news: she will need a tracheostomy, and her doctors have told her that she will most likely lose the ability to speak permanently. Although there are devices and communication tools that may help her find new ways “speak”, this will be a life-changing adjustment for her and everyone who loves her.

This means Sandrianna will never get to read to her son, he’ll never hear her voice again. She won’t get to sing little TJ to sleep or offer him comforting words when he cries. Will he even understand after the surgery why his momma will no longer speak to him? As a family, we won’t hear her laugh when we tell our bad jokes or get to hear her say the words “I love you” ever again. Phone calls will be different, for a while they won’t be possible. I can’t imagine a world where I can’t call out to someone if I’m in need or sing along to my favorite song on my way to work. I can’t imagine struggling to order a coffee in the drive thru or feeling left out of every conversation because no one around you knows sign language or by the time you type something out, the moment to say it has past. All of this is about to be a reality for my sister.

Through all of this, Sandrianna’s greatest motivation is her son, TJ. She is determined to keep fighting so she can continue being the loving and present mother he needs. However, she is physically exhausted, emotionally overwhelmed, and facing new medical challenges.

The surgery will take place in Dallas, 5½ hours from home, and she is expected to remain in the hospital for one to two weeks. This means significant travel, lodging, meals, medical expenses, missed work for her husband, and ongoing support during her recovery.

We created this SupportNow page to surround Sandrianna and her husband LJ with practical help, financial support, encouragement, and prayer. Donations will help with travel and lodging near the hospital, meals, medical and household expenses, lost income and the communication devices or other equipment she may need after surgery.

No contribution or act of kindness is too small. Whether you donate, send a gift card, share this page, or pray for Sandrianna, her family and her medical team, your support will help remind her that she is not facing this alone.

Please pray for a safe surgery, wisdom for her doctors, comfort during this painful transition, and strength for Sandrianna as she learns a new way forward.

From the bottom of our hearts, thank you for standing beside our family and helping Sandrianna continue fighting for her life and her future with LJ and TJ.
