In Support of Ryn's Top Surgery

Hello everyone! My name is Ryn Monahan and I am in need of monetary support in order to afford this life changing gender affirming care. I am pursuing top surgery (a double mastectomy if we are getting technical) to help align my physical form with my gender fluid identity.

This procedure has been a long time coming. I have spent the last 5+ years living in Denver coming into my queer & gender fluid identity, through so many evolutions, I have always come back to these persistent feelings of not feeling at home in my body. I have always struggled with negative body image and gender dysphoria. It took me years to figure out why. Now I know what needs to be done to feel at home in my body again.

Looking at my chest in the mirror everyday has become a huge source of anxiety in my life. I feel deeply in my soul that this procedure will bring me closer to who I want to be, and how I want to be perceived in the world. I am so excited to see how my confidence will bloom after top surgery.
