My name is Amber, and I’m raising money to surprise my husband, Dan, with his dream car—a classic 1968 Chevrolet Camaro Z/28 (or potentially an SS, trying to be realistic).

Dan has served in the U.S. Navy for the past 15 years and has faced heartbreaking losses in recent. In 2022, he lost his mother to multiple sclerosis after he took on significant debt trying to find stem cell treatments that might help her. We are almost debt free now. He later lost two close friends and teammates during a deployment, while working with Seal Team 3. These losses have been incredibly difficult for him and our family. He suffers from major PTSD & survivors guilt now. He's been nothing short of selfless, honorable, loving, & a genuine man who follows the path of Jesus. Depsite all the heartbreak, he's never lost faith. In his spare time, he officiates weddings through church and performs baptisms for those who are ready to follow in Jesus's path.

I can’t take away what he’s been through, but I want to give him something joyful to look forward to. This Camaro surprise is my way of showing him how deeply he is loved and appreciated. Beyond the material aspect of this gift, it's something that holds sentiment. He's never once asked for anything. It's time he gets put first. 

I have been refurbishing furniture as a means for contribution. But I realize that having this completed in the timeline i'm hoping for is unrealistic without help. Every donation will go toward making this dream a reality. If you’d like to help, anything is greatly appreciated.
