In Support of Reed Reuter

Reed Reuter
Hello family and friends! We're reaching out with an update on Reed's journey.

If you know Reed or have been following his story, then you have seen the incredible amount of strength he and his family have had in order to face the challenges that come with Spinal Muscular Atrophy.

Reed was scheduled for two major surgeries within just a few months. First, a hip reconstruction on October 6th, and then a spinal fusion on February 6th.

Unfortunately, on September 15th, just a few weeks before his hip reconstruction, Reed fell and shattered his elbow. This unexpected event turned their plans upside down and added an extra surgery to his schedule.

This means:

Even more traveling, as Reed's specialty team is over 300 miles from home. They have had to travel to the cities and back at least once a month for the last 4 years for Reed to receive disease modifying treatments and care. And now will have added trips on top of this.

Additional time off from work for his mom so she can care for him as he heals from these 3 back-to-back-to-back surgeries.

Gas, food, hotel & hospital stays, bills while she is out of work, and more.

I’ve started this in hopes to help alleviate some of these burdens.

Your support will provide assistance in covering medical expenses, travel costs, and lost wages.

Every contribution, no matter how small, makes a significant difference.

If you are unable to donate, please consider sharing Reed’s story.

Your support and compassion mean the world to Reed and his family.

Thank you for your love, kindness, generosity, and prayers.
