Reagan’s story begins with courage. Born at 30 weeks, she faced bilateral IVH and developed Hydrocephalus at 2 weeks old. As time went on, she was also diagnosed with Cerebral Palsy, Infantile Spasms/Epilepsy, and Cortical Visual Impairment.
Even with these challenges, her spirit is strong. She works hard every single day, and her family is filled with hope for her future. While Reagan faces many developmental challenges, with the right support and consistent therapy, there is so much potential ahead of her.
Next year, Reagan has an amazing opportunity to participate in four full weeks of therapy intensives — two weeks in Portland, Oregon and two weeks in Spokane, Washington. Each intensive, before or with travel, averages about $7,500. These therapy programs are not covered by insurance, leaving families to pay entirely out of pocket. For many families raising a child with disabilities, the cost of therapies, equipment, travel, and care can climb far beyond what most people ever imagine — and intensives alone often represent some of the most expensive but most impactful opportunities.
These programs are designed to help her build strength, improve motor skills, support better balance and coordination, and open the door to more independence in her daily life. Because they are so concentrated, they can create meaningful progress in a short amount of time — progress her family deeply hopes for.
They also require major travel, time away from home, and time away from work for her family.
Reagan’s family will be sharing updates here along the way and welcomes loved ones and the community to follow their journey. They hope her story not only connects people to their family, but maybe even encourages someone else walking a hard road.
Their family is deeply grateful for every prayer, share, and gesture of support.
