Dear Friends and Family,
I hope this message finds you well. I’m reaching out because life has thrown some unexpected challenges my way, and I could use your help. After Hurricane Milton, everything changed. Although I live on the 16th floor of a high-rise in downtown St. Petersburg, the hurricane-force winds drove water through my windows and flooded my apartment. My furniture and belongings near the windows are ruined. The cost of transportation to make this move has doubled, and with the rising expenses, moving back to South Carolina has become much harder than I anticipated. I did not have renters insurance for water damage from hurricane winds.
As many of you know, I don’t have a car right now, which makes the process even more difficult. On top of that, I need to cover an extra month’s rent just to secure a place to live. This has added a financial burden I wasn’t prepared for, so I’m asking for your support during this tough time.
