In Support of Papa Billé, father figure needs help
Hello, dear family and friends! I am reaching out to you with great hope and urgency to ask for your help for someone very dear to me, Papa Billé. He is an 85-year-old man who has become like a father figure in my life. Right now, he needs our support to find a safe and stable place to live.
Papa Billé is living in Cuba, in a very toxic and dangerous situation. I know this all too well, as I managed to escape it just six months ago. Now, I am urgently trying to help him get out and find a secure place to call home.
Unfortunately, my current financial situation does not allow me to do this on my own, and at 85, time is of the essence. Papa is not my biological father, but life has a way of creating family beyond blood. After spending years in Cuba, I became deeply connected to this family, and that connection did not disappear when my marriage ended.

I am rebuilding my own life, and I wish I had the resources to handle this alone. I don't. But I believe that a small act of kindness from many people can create something meaningful.
My goal is to help Papa have a safe, peaceful place where he can live with dignity and not feel forgotten.
