In Support of Olia

Hello, family, friends and community, 

This is Olia! This year made me do a lot of things for the first time, including asking for help in this way. Maybe you already know this, for the past two months, sudden and persistent pains have sent me to the emergency room twice.

Good news is, I’ll have a procedure done on 9/17 to remove a (most likely benign) mass and hopefully resolve the problem. Sad news is, my job doesn’t cover paid medical leave, which means I’ll have little to low income during recovery. The medical bills, moving and living expenses have been burning my savings. Like a friend said, there’s no honor in suffering alone. The situation pushed me to ask for extra hand from caring friends and family. Any help can make a difference to help cover my growing expenses, and improve my mental, physical and financial wellbeing. 

I’d also appreciate knowing I can give in return, especially what I have in abundance: arts, images, prints, stories, memes, books from my big collections, film and music recommendations and more ideas in the future.
