Nora Gilbert is a two year old girl who was born with Pontocerebellar Hypoplaysia, a rare neurological condition that affects her brain development and causes ongoing health challenges. In her young life, she has already endured so much — from respiratory distress and a brain injury to needing a GI tube for feeding and facing frequent hospital stays.

But Nora is so much more than her diagnosis. She is the light of her parents’ lives — their source of joy, love, and inspiration. Her strength and resilience shine through in everything she does, and her spirit touches everyone who has the privilege of knowing her. Even in the hardest moments, she continues to bring warmth, hope, and light to those around her.

9/25/25 Update:
Our sweet Nora has been in the hospital for a week after catching what started as a cold which lead to respiratory distress. While she’s been there, doctors have uncovered more complications that are keeping her admitted even longer.

As you can imagine, this has been incredibly stressful and overwhelming for Nora's parents, Danielle and Shane. Not only are they carrying the weight of worry for their daughter, but they’re also facing a growing mountain of hospital bills. On top of that, they’ve been staying by Nora’s side day and night, making it difficult to care for themselves with basic needs like meals.

This fundraiser will go directly toward helping them in two ways:
