We're starting an exciting new chapter in Gustavus, Alaska. After several months of being sober, my boyfriend and I have secured jobs—I'll work at the front desk, and he will be a chef at Glacier Bay Lodge. This move means a fresh start for both of us, but it’s a big journey from where we are now. We need to be in Alaska by May 14th, 2026, and we're also supporting my father-in-law, a VA veteran, to move into a new apartment this weekend. All these responsibilities make it challenging, but we're hopeful and determined.
