In Support of Ms. V
We are reaching out to support Ms. V, an elderly widow who has endured an incredibly difficult year. Her husband, a disabled veteran and the family’s primary provider, recently passed away. In the months that followed, she discovered they had quietly fallen behind on their mortgage, and her home entered foreclosure. Ms. V is also recently in remission from cancer and is now facing the overwhelming task of starting over alone.
Unfortunately, before fully understanding her options, she signed a contract with a real estate wholesaler that leaves her with no proceeds from the sale of her home. After years of homeownership, she will be walking away with virtually nothing.
Ms. V is moving to South Carolina to be closer to her family, who can provide the support she needs during this difficult transition. We are raising funds to help cover her $9,744 past-due mortgage balance, moving expenses, and provide a small financial cushion as she begins this new chapter of her life.
