Some horses are special.
They don’t just stand in a pasture. They become part of people’s healing, growth, and memories.
Mr. B is one of those horses.
This big, beautiful Saddlebred gelding has spent years giving so much of himself to others.
He has helped neurodivergent clients slow down and build confidence.
He has eased anxiety and pressure for high-achieving students.
He has supported women when they felt overwhelmed or invisible.
Mr. B has brought comfort to friends and visitors simply through his calm and gentle presence.
He has been the life of the party, eating centerpieces and making the ladies break out in laughter.

Now he needs us to be there for him.
Over the past year, Mr. B has been fighting a severe case of founder, a painful condition affecting his feet. There were moments when we feared we might lose him. With the support of my veterinarian and a commitment to doing everything possible, we chose to fight for him.
I have spent months pursuing veterinary care, medications, diagnostics, therapeutic hoof care, and everything needed to give him a chance. I have exhausted my savings because Mr. B is not just a horse...he is family.
Mr. B now needs specialized founder rehabilitation care, including advanced evaluation, radiographs, and a therapeutic hoof-care plan. The estimated cost of this next step is approximately $3,400.
Asking for help is not easy. In fact, this was suggested by a friend and he said I have to consider that this is for Mr. B, and that people would understand that.
I have always been able to find a way to take care of my animals. But sometimes we need a community beside us. So, for Mr. B, here I am.
