In Support of Mckenzie

Hello family and friends, thank you for your love and support.

Our sweet Mckenzie, who is just 11 years old, is bravely fighting a mass in her brain and encephalitis. These health challenges have also affected her motor skills. Mckenzie’s mom and stepdad are constantly by her side at the hospital, providing comfort and support. This means they cannot go to work right now, and they need our help to manage everyday expenses and focus completely on McKenzie's care.

On September 6th, 2026 Mckenzie was life flighted to Barbara Bush Children’s hospital in Portland ME with a mass in her brain after she was woken up and found to be unable to speak or walk. 

Mckenzie is a bright beautiful child who is always smiling and full of life, she’s now in the fight of her life at such a small age. 

As of today 09/09/26 Mckenzie has been placed in a medically induced coma to protect her brain from the seizures that she is having multiple times a day. The hospital has no clear diagnoses at this time and they are expected to remain in the ICU for at least another five days, and after that in the hospital for an indeterminate amount of time. 

Mckenzie is an Oxford hills Viking cheerleader, a friend, a granddaughter, a daughter, a student and my little girls best friend. Kenzies health is our top priority and Dallas and John need to be with her during this time without fear of not being able to pay their bills. 

No parent should have to choose between their child and work.
