In Support of Max and Ruby Thompson
Just keep swimming! Just like Nemo and Dory relied on friendship and determination to navigate the vast ocean, our sweet 14-year-old Max and 9-year-old sister Ruby are tackling their own big adventures every single day. Born with unique physical challenges, they bring endless joy to our lives, but our current bathroom is like a barrier reef they can’t quite cross safely.
In order for the space to be fully ADA compliant and accessible for their needs, we must widen the doorways, add vital square footage, and install a roll-in shower. We are estimating the total cost of these structural renovations to be $30,000+. Because available grants and public funding for this type of residential project are unfortunately minimal, we are turning to our community to help make this critical transformation a reality.
