Hello, family and friends.
As many of you know, my dad, Mark Wiseman, has been battling CMML leukemia since last summer. Over the past year, he and my stepmom, Deanna, have spent countless hours traveling to hospitals and attending appointments with doctors and specialists.
We recently learned that due to declining blood counts, my dad will undergo a bone marrow transplant at KU Medical Center on July 7. Leading up to the transplant, he will need frequent chemotherapy treatments and testing. After the procedure, our family will need to remain near the hospital for approximately 100 days while he recovers and is closely monitored. If you know my dad, you've seen him work so hard his whole life, and take care of others. I am hoping that he can finally focus on himself, and let us take care of him during the next couple of months.
We are raising funds to help ease the financial burden of travel, lodging, medical expenses, and other unexpected costs during this journey. Most importantly, we ask for your prayers for strength, healing, and comfort in the days ahead.
Every prayer, donation, and share is deeply appreciated. Thank you for supporting our family during this difficult time.
