Stand With Marc Anthony: A Young Man Fighting for His Future
There are moments in life when you realize just how quickly everything can change.
Our 24-year-old son, Marc Anthony, is facing one of the hardest battles of his young life. He has been diagnosed with large B-cell lymphoma, and since June, he has been unable to work while undergoing treatment and fighting to get his health back.
Marc Anthony has always been a hard worker. He is kind, humble, and has a quiet spirit. He doesn't seek attention, and he isn't someone who easily asks others for help. He simply works hard, loves his family, and keeps moving forward.
But right now, he needs us to stand in the gap for him.
At an age when he should be working, building his future, making plans, and enjoying life, Marc is instead facing chemotherapy, medical appointments, uncertainty, and the physical and emotional toll that comes with cancer.
No 24-year-old should have to put his dreams on hold because of cancer.
And yet, that is where we are.
As his family, we would do anything to take this battle from him. We would carry the pain, sit through every treatment, take away every fear, and give him back the certainty that his future is still waiting for him.
But we can't fight this battle for him.
What we can do is surround him.
We are asking our family, friends, community, and anyone whose heart is touched by Marc's story to help us make sure that financial stress is not another battle he has to fight.
Because Marc cannot work right now, the expenses of everyday life continue even as his ability to earn has stopped. Donations will help with living expenses, transportation, food, medical-related costs, household needs, and other necessities while he focuses on treatment and recovery.
Every donation—whether $10, $25, $50, $100, or more—is an act of love. Every share helps us reach another person. Every prayer reminds Marc that he is not walking this road alone.
We are not asking you to simply give money. We are asking you to help give Marc room to heal.
Give him the opportunity to focus on fighting this disease without constantly wondering how the next bill will be paid.
Give him the reminder that there are people standing behind him.
Give him hope.
Marc has spent his life being the kind of person who quietly shows up and works hard. Now it is our turn to show up for him.
Marc Anthony is more than a diagnosis. He is a son. A brother. A loved one. A young man with dreams, a future, and so much life ahead of him.
We believe his story is not ending here.
We believe there are still chapters to be written.
We believe there are still dreams to chase, laughter to share, memories to make, and a future waiting for him on the other side of this battle.
So today, we are asking you to stand with Marc Anthony.
Pray for him. Give if you can. Share his story. Speak his name. Encourage him.
And if you can't do anything else, simply send up a prayer for our son.
We are taking this journey one treatment, one day, one prayer, and one step at a time.
With grateful hearts,
The Gresham's
