Hello family and friends! I never thought I would be the person making one of these, and asking for help is incredibly hard for me. But right now, I’m choosing to put my pride aside for my family. We’ve been doing everything we can to keep up, but lately it feels like every time we start to catch our breath, something else happens.
I’m currently trying to transition into more stable employment and income while keeping up with the everyday expenses of raising a family. Now we’re also facing plumbing problems in our home that we can’t afford to ignore. Our kitchen sink isn’t draining properly, water has been backing up into the basement, and we’re having problems with the toilet. We’re worried there may be an issue with the plumbing line underneath the house, which could turn into a much larger and more expensive repair. And that’s the scary part—we don’t have a financial cushion for something like this.
We’re not asking for money for vacations, extras, or anything extravagant. We’re trying to keep our home functioning, keep food in the house, stay on top of utilities and everyday necessities, and get through this transition without falling even further behind. I’m actively working toward finding more stable employment and getting our family back into a better financial position. I’m not looking for someone to fix our lives. I’m asking for a little help getting through the part where everything seems to be hitting at once. Donations will go toward necessary plumbing and home repairs and essential household expenses while I work toward stable employment.
