On January 9, 2024, Lucas was out snowboarding when a flip attempt changed everything. He sustained a C5 incomplete spinal cord injury, leaving him paralyzed from the chest down.
But if you know Lucas, you know one thing for sure—he’s not the kind of person who sits still.
Lucas is an outdoorsman at heart. The mountains, the trails, the freedom of nature—that’s where he comes alive. And he’s determined to get back to it. His goals? Snowboarding again, adaptive mountain biking, and exploring the outdoors without limits.
Right now, one of the biggest barriers standing in his way is accessibility.
His current wheelchair simply can’t handle the terrain—not even on his own property. The ground is uneven, rugged, and limiting his ability to move freely and live independently. What Lucas needs is an adaptive off-road mobility device—something built to handle trails, dirt, hills, and nature.
