Hello, family and friends! I hope this message finds you well.
As many of you may know, Hurricane Milton caused significant damage to our home. Our roof has been damaged, and the septic system is not functioning, which means we've been without hot water for two weeks. Our landlord, overwhelmed with repairs, has decided to evict us instead of making the essential fixes. To make matters worse, she has taken a vacation, leaving us in a tough spot. I'm raising my nonverbal autistic grandson, who was abandoned to me a few years back, making this situation even more challenging. We have received no assistance from FEMA as they are still helping victims from a prior hurricane and our landlord misled them. We urgently need adequate housing, but moving requires a large sum for the first few months' rent.
Your support in this difficult time would mean the world to us. Here’s how you can help:
  1. Choose from Support Registry options: We're accepting monetary support to help with moving expenses.
  2. 'Share' to Spread the Word to family and friends: Let others know of our situation and how they can help.
  3. 'Follow' Updates to stay informed: Stay connected with our progress and updates on our journey.
