In Support of Linda Nelson

For nearly 50 years, my grandmother, Linda Nelson, has faithfully served our community as a Registered Nurse at Taylor Regional Hospital. She has delivered babies, cared for the sick, comforted families during their hardest moments, and dedicated her life to helping others. Recently, she was diagnosed with Multiple Myeloma, a type of blood cancer that affects plasma cells in the bone marrow. As she begins treatment, she is facing tremendous financial challenges. Due to the hospital's ongoing financial difficulties, insurance premiums were not being paid on her behalf, and employees have also experienced delayed paychecks. As a result, she is now facing medical expenses, treatment costs, and travel expenses at a time when she should be focused solely on her health. If you know Linda (or Lynn), you know she would never ask for help herself. In fact, she did not want us to do this. She has always been the one giving—opening her home, sharing meals, offering support, praying for others, and caring for countless people throughout our community. She has spent decades helping others heal, often putting the needs of others before her own. Now, we are asking our community to come together and help her during this difficult season.
