In Support of Leviathan's Partners & Cats
Earlier this year, me and my partners kicked out our 4th roommate who was very financially abusive and manipulative. We talked to the leasing office about getting them off of our lease and we were told that hey had to come in person to sign a form stating they did not live there and do not contribute to the lease anymore.
Unfortunately they never did this. Our lease ends on August 31st. We just talked to the Leasing office and they are saying we cannot break our lease or renew without the ex roommate signing that form, and unfortunately they wont let us do a month-to-month payment either. It's either Renew or get evicted.
So we're trying to get enough saved to move into a different apartment. we have a couple options, but all of them cost around 4.5-6k after fees and everything.
We have two very sweet cats that we cannot leave. One of them is an in-training service cat for one of my partners. So we're going to have to pay Pet fees as well as application fees, move in fees, first & last months rent.
Anything helps, please.
