My name is Letoria and I’m a mother of 7 and I have 5 grandchildren. I suffer with bipolar 1 disorder severe anxiety and borderline personality disorder. It hard for me to keep a job and now. I went out on short term disability from my job that I was able to last for a small time before my anxiety and borderline personality disorder started to effect my work and my ability to perform my job and stay focused. I eventually ran into long term disability seeing doctors every week and month to try to help me control my mental illness. Once my job fired me I lost my insurance and now I need a MRI because I’ve had a slip n fall in my apartment due my sink pipes kept coming apart. It took maintenance about 6 months to come fix and that was after I fell and tore my shoulder and finger. I need to have surgery but I can not first afford the MRI to proceed. I can not use my dominant arm for much of anything. Imagine a broken arm trying to do daily life work and responsibilities. It gets hard. Now I’ve lost my long term disability because when I lost my insurance I couldn’t see my doctor anymore. I’ve applied for state medical insurance but my company is so high. I’ve lost my disability check and I have two girls in high school with babies and a seven year old in the home with me. The rest are spread out because I can not afford to move and the apartment I’m at only allows 2 people per room and they do inspections. I need all my kids in one place with me. I just need a lot of prayer. Just got denied for social security benefits for the 2nd time. Now I have to appeal again and see a judge. How long will that take? But if I can get my MRI and show them how my arm has torn rotator cuff and a tore ligament in my finer both with needs surgery. I need help with bills and food right now.
