In Loving Memory of Larnell T. Lane (July 19, 1958 - July 11, 2026)

Our mom's wake will be held on Friday, July 24, 2026, from 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m.
at Solimine Funeral Home, 67 Ocean Street (Route 1A), Lynn.

A Funeral Service will be held on Saturday, July 25, 2026, at 10:00 a.m. at the same funeral home, followed by burial at Pine Grove Cemetery in Lynn. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend.

Larnell T. Lane, age 67, of Lynn, Massachusetts, passed away unexpectedly on Saturday, July 11, 2026, at North Shore Medical Center – Salem Hospital, following a sudden medical emergency at her home.

Born in Norfolk, Virginia, in 1958, Larnell was the cherished daughter of the late Milton and Ernestine (Taylor) Lane and the late Lemuel and Eunice M. Brown. She was raised in Lynn, where she attended Lynn Classical High School and built a life centered on family, perseverance, and unconditional love.

Larnell will be remembered for her incredible strength, resilience, and unwavering devotion to her family. She faced life's challenges with determination, grace, and an enduring optimism that inspired everyone who knew her. Though she endured hardships, she remained a source of encouragement, joy, and comfort to those around her. Her greatest pride was her family, and she poured her heart into supporting and uplifting the people she loved.

She leaves behind her loving daughters, Seanita Lane, Alexis Lane, and Nicole McClain and her husband, James; her beloved grandchildren, Jonah A. Jones, Nyari Lane-Benjamin, Dariace Lane-Miranda, and Jaeqhan McClain; five cherished great-grandchildren; and a large extended family of sisters, brothers, nieces, nephews, cousins, and dear friends who will forever treasure her memory.

Larnell was preceded in death by her beloved son, Eric Christopher Lane, who passed away in June 2025. While losing her son brought unimaginable heartbreak, she continued to embody resilience and unconditional love, remaining a guiding light for her family through even the most difficult seasons.
She is also preceded in death by:
Mothers: Ernestine Lane & Eunice Brown
Fathers:  Milton Lane, Sr. & Lemuel Brown
Brothers: Thomas Lane, Sr and Milton Lane, Jr.
Sisters: Patricia Vaughn, Ina Ray Howard

Her legacy lives on in the strength, compassion, perseverance, and love she instilled in her children and generations to come. She taught her family to make a way out of no way, to never give up, and to always move forward with faith and hope. Those lessons will continue to guide all who were blessed to know her.

During this difficult time, the Lane and McClain families are deeply grateful for the love, prayers, and support of the community. Any contribution, no matter the size, is sincerely appreciated and will help ease the family's unexpected funeral expenses as they honor Larnell's life and legacy. Most importantly, we ask that you keep our family in your thoughts and prayers as we navigate this profound loss.
