For over 30 years, Trey and Lallaya Lalley poured their hard work and heart into Brothers Lounge, a Blackstone institution housed in a historic building that turned 100 years old this year. On June 21st, the building’s south wall collapsed under hydrostatic pressure, the culmination of months of streetcar construction digging up the street out front with no drainage in place, and days after the Lalleys reported water and mud pouring into the basement, a warning the city failed to respond to. The building, which represented their life’s savings and retirement, was in the process of being sold when everything changed overnight. Please help Trey and Lallaya pay for attorney fees and to rebuild after losing everything they spent three decades building.
