In Support of kouvr lennox kile
to share a little about my sweet girl—
at age 3, Kouvr was diagnosed with B-cell ALL leukemia. she turned 4 this past May, & what started as an ordinary pediatrician visit soon became an emergency rush to the nearest children’s hospital. the day our world flipped upside down, life's rhythm shattered, hearing the word “leukemia”. along with lab results that sent shockwaves: “WBC: 124.52 | PLT: 11.”
it's the true definition of "you never know what tomorrow will bring” — kouvr was fine & then 3 days later, she wasn’t. 3 days later, we heard confirmation of her diagnosis from 3 different doctors. it's an overwhelming realization that life can change in an instant.
first phase (induction), lasted 37 days.
cancer is a thief
i never knew what it was like to truly grieve before now, but especially for someone that was not actually gone.
currently, she’s in the delayed intensification phase of treatment, continuing to show her bravery, strength & resilience despite everything cancer has stolen from her.
amidst all of this, i am also managing my own battle with primary progressive multiple sclerosis. although life has thrown us one hurdle after another, kouvr still embraces each moment with such joy & gratefulness, teaching us all the true meaning of resilience.
her gratitude truly shines through bigger & brighter than ever.
i don’t usually ask for help, especially from those on the internet. we travel across state lines, 45+ mins one way to get her to & from weekly (sometimes multiple) appointments + hospital visits. financials pile up so quickly, especially when a main source of income is lost due to the inability to work a full time job.
we humbly ask for any support during this time. your kindness & generosity mean more than words can express. thank you for standing with us in this fight. 🎗️
for those of you who would like to following more in depth of kouvr’s tail of strength, we’ve made a facebook page!
