It is with great sorrow to share that Kenneth (Kenny/Chris/Kes) Robertson passed away and was found in his bed on April 3rd, 2024, just 2 months shy of his 40th birthday. While Kenny/Chris was living in Austin just over a year, he truly built a wonderful community of people who loved and liked him. He also spent a lot of time with his sister, Anita, nephew Nico and brother-in-law Carlos. They had weekly dinners, shopping trips, movie nights and doing many activities together in Austin. Thanks to the help of many friends, Kenny/Chris got an apartment a mile away from Anita & Carlos' home. Kenny/Chris spent time with his brother Jesse and his family for holidays and other events.  .

Anita & her family are overwhelmed with grief as Kenny/Chris spent so much time with them and was part of their little family. Anita & Kenny leaned on each other a lot this past year as they grieved the unexpected loss of their father. Anita & her family appreciate any support, including kind words, during this time.

Anita has decided she will build a little library to put by her house in honor of her brother and put his books in it to share with the world.

If you want to learn more about the little free libraries you can look a the website here:

We are also exploring a memorial bench at one of the parks Kenny/Chris, Anita & Nico frequented together. We are collecting donations to do the library & memorial bench in honor of Kenneth Christian Robertson.
