I am a single mother with a 15 month old recovering from heart transplant surgery. We spent a year in the hospital waiting inpatient, I haven’t been able to work since she was born, I also can’t work since being released out of the hospital due to being the sole caretaker. We have tons of appointments and therapies, her heart team is in Houston. I’m doing my best with just me. Things are adding up though. Anything helps us, any support at all goes a long way for a medical mom doing it on her own.
