Hello, dear family and friends. We are reaching out to share an important part of our lives and to ask for your support in any way you feel comfortable.
As you know, Jules is bravely battling ALS and needs ongoing care. I continue to tirelessly supporting him and always need respite care in order to keep our family stable and above water.
Meanwhile, Skyler (who just turned 8!) could benefit from some extra joy and ease during this time. Your support means the world to us and helps provide the care and comfort we need.
In 2025, we expect to spend upwards of $45,000 for caregiver assistance alone. Our caregiver spends a few hours each day with us and provides vital support needed to care for Jules. Even with help, I'm still caring for him 24/7 since two people are needed for many of the tasks, then I take over fully for afternoons and all evenings.
This doesn't include medicines, supplies, equipment and all the miscellaneous of living with this disease.
