Help Jodie & Her Boys Move Forward After Devastating Fire
In January, our beloved community member Jodie Spencer and her three boys lost almost everything they owned to a devastating house fire. While insurance is covering temporary housing and the core rebuilding process, Jodie’s world was upended yet again.
Due to a sudden medical crisis, Jodie was recently forced into early retirement from the teaching job she poured her heart into at Oakview Elementary. Because she can no longer teach, she will heartbreakingly have to sell their home the moment the rebuild is complete just to stay afloat.

We want to ensure this house sells quickly and for top dollar so Jodie and her boys have the financial security they need for the long road ahead. Insurance will not cover everything. We are raising $10,000 to fund critical projects that will make this house market-ready:

Interior Finishing: Completing and updating essential rooms that fell outside of insurance coverage.

Curb Appeal & Exterior Repairs: Critical yard work improvements and outside fixes to ensure the home attracts the right buyer immediately.

Transition Support: Giving a dedicated local teacher and her children some breathing room as they navigate medical challenges and a forced relocation.
