There comes a time when we are presented with an opportunity to help a long-term member of the Park Square family. Jesse Anderson, who has been part of our heart and soul for over three decades, is in the hospital. He is undergoing chemo, dialysis, and blood transfusions as the medical team at TMC uses all their skills to make Jesse well again. In typical Jesse understatement, he has been seeing a doctor since 2018 but didn’t want to bother his family, us or his wife, his son, and his daughter so his illness seems so sudden and unexpected. Well, it isn’t sudden, and it isn’t unexpected to Jesse.

For 30+ years Jesse has helped us, at night and on weekends and for our personal events or needs and now we are given the opportunity to express our gratitude and our love to Jesse by giving back to him and his family. We have set up a SupportNow site for Jesse and his family and those details along with with a link to the site will follow in an announcement tomorrow. We don’t get many chances in life to say “thank you” to those we care about, but we have this opportunity to express our gratitude to Jesse and his family for all they have meant to us over the past 30 years. Jesse will shortly be released to go to his son’s home and your support will be very meaningful. But please recognize that we might have to take a back seat to the outpouring of love and support from his church. One more thing to do for Jesse is to pray for the Astros to get their game faces on and start winning, he feels burdened by their poor play so far this year!
